Findings & experiences
We are proud to be part of a European Erasmus + project and would like to share our findings and experiences. We believe that sharing is multiplying and we’d like to inspire others. We will tell you more about our project and its advancements.
About the project
Train Sustain aims to professionalize Trainers of disadvantaged citizens in creating sustainable jobs. We give trainers guidance in training citizens with learning difficulties or mental challenges, on how to repair, renovate and restore used items. In this way, we help promote green business opportunities while supporting the employability of vulnerable participants as they are equipped with the proper knowledge on how to enter or re-enter the labor market.
International Teachers Training in San Sebastian
From 23-25th of May, we organized an International Teacher’s Training in San Sebastian/Spain. Partners have shared their knowledge and competencies firstly on theoretical skills and secondly on practical skills. Indeed, the participants had the opportunity to delve into the world of teaching. Different topics such as the importance of physical space, the complexities of communication, how to frame a good relationship between the trainer and the learner, or how to have a safe space have been discussed and presented to the participants.
Furthermore, many workshops have been organized in order to make the different participants discover how to reuse, upcycle or recycle stuff such as office chairs, clothes, glass, and bottles.
We would like to thank our partner Gureak for the warm welcome and the interesting presentation of its office and tasks.
Transnational Project Meeting in San Sebastian
From the 23-24th of May, we have also met with partners for the third time in San Sebastian to discuss the advancements of the project and what has been done so far. This TPM was also a success thanks to all the partners !! We are now ready as ever to continue together in the same direction to finalize this beautiful European project.
See you soon everyone.
